Cultural clashing

Spending more and more time here, the cultural clashes have just become more and more evident. Maybe just because this place is like a big city etc, you kinda feel like people are so impersonal and superficial. That it's really difficult to get to know people. Just people are a lot more closed up and conserved I guess. It's not like in SA or like Western societies that if you are to be friends with people you will find out whether you click immediately. It's like putting the geyser on like flipping lukewarm and turning up a degree of two every month or so. It's the same with relationships here. Like people take long to get to know each other... in fact it takes so long sometimes I don't even know how people end up gettin married
