Cultural clashing

Spending more and more time here, the cultural clashes have just become more and more evident. Maybe just because this place is like a big city etc, you kinda feel like people are so impersonal and superficial. That it's really difficult to get to know people. Just people are a lot more closed up and conserved I guess. It's not like in SA or like Western societies that if you are to be friends with people you will find out whether you click immediately. It's like putting the geyser on like flipping lukewarm and turning up a degree of two every month or so. It's the same with relationships here. Like people take long to get to know each other... in fact it takes so long sometimes I don't even know how people end up gettin married

Tao Yuan-Guan Yin

This past weekend I popped past a friend's place to let off some steam from work.
I went to the more country side of Tao Yuan

First we went to the fish market nearby for some seafood and some yummy sushi ^^

Wind powered energy placed very close to the sea.
Then we went to the sea and watched the sun set.

Tried, unsuccessfully at the 180 degree photo thing. But still looks cool nonetheless >.<

And here is a better shot
Catching the waves~

It's tradition to have kupo everywhere you go. We love moogles ^^
Trying out the cartoon texture on the camera. It's pretty cool I think. Maybe I can even write a comic using this filter lol.

Friend making pasta for us for dinner. Yummy~
And a super big meat ball from the fish market (seriously supersized)
 Ta Da~!
